Our courses

The aim of our courses is a comprehensive training of theoretical and practical abilities in order to start with clinical practical use the first day after the course.

Beside the theoretical introduction with scientific basics and clinical evidence we emphasize extensive hands-on training. In order to achieve maximal efficiency, we support the courses with specialized training software, which is certified by the medical council of northrine-westfalia. The training software simulates the clinical situation and presents 500 – 2000 (depending on the course) original images from our clinical practice; so the trainee practices the assessment of imaging with a wide variety of images at home with his personal computer. This comprises a long period of clinical experience to only a few hours of learning. Every trainee can learn at his or her own speed and complement practical skills.

The software is designed for Microsoft Windows PC with Win XO or higher (or Linux with WINE). There is no version for IOS / Apple Mac; here a good emulation (i.e. parallels Desktop) should help, but we do not guarantee.

The courses are designed for beginners and experienced, because they allow to build a new individual skill as well as a deepening of knowledge and practical skills.

Actual we present three different courses:

Intenisve course fracture sonography

We exclusively provide this course in europe. We train the indications, basics and practical skills of fracture sonography. Besides the theoretical introduction we emphasize the hands-on training. We provide the opportunity of the certificate “fracture sonography I”.

Intensive course surgical radiology training

With this course we train the practical assessment of x-ray images in emergency cases. We provide over 2000 original x-ra images from the whole skeleton with all relevant acute pathologies, pitfalls and tricks. We emphasize the practical x-ray assessment of every trainee with our specialized software. Every trainee brings his own portable computer, the software is permanently installed and can be repeated at home. In addition to the x-ray training I provides a training tool for the bone landmarks of the whole skeleton and an extensive library of standard x-ray examples from the newborn up to adult patients. After the training the trainee has seen and assessed all relevant pathologies.

Intensive course x-ray in the growing age

Similar to the above mentioned Intensive course surgical radiology training we provide a special course for x-ray assessment in the growing age. For the reason that the x-ray findings are very different from the adult cases, we provide only x-rays from the newborn and growing period. A similar software application is provided as well.
